Working safely is a completely different approach to safety and health training. It’s a high-impact programme designed to
be fun and get people fully involved. The first-class, jargon-free content is based on what people need to know in practice, and not off-putting legal language

Recognised by CSCS as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in health and safety in a construction environment
Applying for a CSCS card
Our Working safely course is recognised by CSCS as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.
That means that delegates who successfully complete Working safely can apply for a CSCS green Labourer card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test.

Who should attend
Working safely is for people at any level, in any sector, who need a grounding in the essentials of safety and health. It
gives everyone at work an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ – and does that in an enjoyable way.
What you will learn
The content of the course covers:
- An outline of occupational safety and health
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
Course Duration : 1 Day
Assessment Process
Delegates are evaluated using a multi-format question paper and a multiple choice hazard spotting exercise
When you pass, you can choose to receive the IOSH Working safely certificate and/or the IOSH safety passport as proof of your qualification

How to re-qualify:
Qualification is recommendation to be refreshed every five years
