Paediatric First Aid Training

Paediatric first aid is close to people's heart and knowing what to do in the case of an emergency in the workplace or home is of high importance. People employed in a capacity where they work with children of early years are required by early years guidelines to be suitably qualified.
The statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage states that:
- At least one person who has a current paediatric first aid certificate must be present at an early years or childcare setting all the time children are there.
- Childminders must hold a current paediatric first aid certificate at the point of registration.
- There must be at least one person on outings who has a current paediatric first aid certificate.
Active Training Network offers this training for employers or individuals which can be delivered onsite or attend an open course at one of our training venues. The courses last for a duration of two days and candidates will receive up to date knowledge of cpr for infants children adults and first aid.
Another training option where people are not required to follow the eyfs framework is a one day paediatric course.
